You may then contact them and request for a quotation.
You can ask for as many quotations as you want, although we advise you to limit it to 3. It will lead to more qualitative discussions and make it easier for you to choose at the end.
We advise you to add as much information as possible. Clarify your project, specify your overall budget, and upload pictures or drawings. That will help the Contractor understand what you have in mind.
You may receive a pre-quotation. The Contractor usually arranges a call to discuss your project more in detail. At this time, feel free to ask for credentials and check whether they could meet your budget and timeline. The Contractor may also request a visit of the premises to finetune their estimate. That’s fine! We actually recommend it so that there is no misunderstanding. Meet face-to-face, let the Contractor meet with the community or building authority to discuss requirements, eg in terms of insurance, permits, etc. The Contractor will eventually send a final quotation. Upon acceptance and payment, the project starts.
It will depend on what you agreed with the Contractor and on the type of project. The Contractor shall nonetheless regularly update you on the progress and confirm each milestone’s completion through the WorksElement platform. You will receive a notification every time a milestone has been completed.
During the project execution, you will have the possibility to lodge a complaint every time the Contractor claims that they reached a milestone. Giving feedback as early as possible is important so that the Contractor may make it right. At the end of the project, you will then have the opportunity to rate the Contractor’s work and send a review. Their rating and reviews will be displayed on their profile page. It is crucial to be fair and specific. It will help other Clients to choose the right contractor.
